Exam Info
Everything you need to know about the exam schedule, admit card and result.
The Madhyamik 2027 theory exams run from 15 to 25 February 2027, with one subject per day. Exams are held from 10:45 AM to 2:00 PM, with the first 15 minutes (10:45–11:00 AM) for reading the question paper only.
Admit cards are released through schools in January 2027. Collect yours from your school — it is compulsory to carry it on every exam day along with your school ID.
The exam form fill-up for Madhyamik is handled by your school, usually months in advance. Check with your school for the exact deadline — this site will update this section once official dates are confirmed.
The WBBSE Madhyamik result is usually announced in May, on the official website wbbse.wb.gov.in — you'll be able to check it using your roll number and date of birth.
Each subject paper carries 90 marks for theory and 10 for internal assessment/practical. You need at least 25% in each subject to pass. 1st Division: 480+ marks · 2nd Division: 360+ marks · 3rd Division: 272+ marks (out of 800).
Reach your exam centre well before reporting time. Carry your admit card, school ID and all required stationery. Use the 15-minute reading time to plan your answers before writing begins.
Dates are based on the official WBBSE routine released in 2026 and may be revised by the Board — always cross-check with your school or wbbse.wb.gov.in closer to the exam.
